Elder Services of Berkshire County Inc. Quality Assurance Supervisor in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

The Quality Assurance Program Supervisor is responsible for implementing and overseeing the comprehensive quality improvement plan for all Elder Services' programs, services, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have skills in the area of analysis, foresight, problem-solving and critical judgment; excellent interpersonal skills, and strong oral/written communication skills. Must be an assertive leader who is able to serve as part of a larger team of professionals. This position requires proficiency in Excel, Word, database reporting and PowerPoint. Candidates should have a BA in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other related field, with a minimum of three years' in human services. Accreditation or training in Quality Improvement or Assurance a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision Ability to interpret, understand and adhere to regulations, standards, and procedures as set forth by ESBC, Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Mass Health and other regulatory agencies as necessary Commitment to working with the elderly; sensitivity to aging issues. Leadership ability and appropriate assertiveness and follow-through. Dedication to detail and thoroughness. Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Excel, Word, database reporting, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated team building skills Knowledge of quality improvement programs and processes.
