As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The Oracle Analytics Consulting Practice for North America Consulting is chartered with helping customers successfully leverage their investment in Oracle software. We assist and guide our customers by developing analytic reporting strategies and solutions, creating implementation roadmaps, performing assessments, and full-life cycle implementations of Oracle analytics solutions in the Oracle cloud and on-premise. We are looking for an experienced consultant with significant hands-on experience working with Oracle’s database, analytics, integration/ETL and data warehouse solutions to assist Oracle’s clients with their data warehouse implementation and migration projects. A rapid increase in our customer’s desire to migrate to their analytic solutions to Oracle Cloud while leveraging Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) has meant an increase in demand for Oracle Consulting services. Knowledge of related solutions such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is required and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) is desired.
*Key Responsibilities *
Understand customer’s requirements and produce an analytics and data integration solution that meets their needs.
Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle analytics and data integration products and service offerings.
Lead project delivery as technical expert/lead to the customers when implementing solutions.
Develop and implement solutions that follow product development guidelines and are in-line with established design standards and approved architectures using Oracle’s PaaS offerings.
Transfer solution and product knowledge to customers.
Resolve or escalate client issues as appropriate to support and engineering teams.
Collaborate by sharing knowledge and best practices within the practice.
Develop peer network through which to provide and receive product and skills assistance.
*Job Requirements *
Minimum 8 years of mix of OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Cloud/Oracle Analytics Server, Data Warehouse, SQL and ODI experience ideally with integration to/from Oracle Applications. This includes design, implementation and migrations (ideally with Oracle ADW).
Solid understanding of Oracle Database, Data Modelling, Oracle SQL Developer, data warehouse concepts and implementation, analytics and advanced analytics concepts and implementation.
Experience architecting and provisioning/configuring cloud-based data warehouse and/or database solutions is a plus.
Experience with following Oracle solutions is greatly desired: Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), big data, and/or data science.
Significant Oracle data warehouse experience, ideally with integration to/from Oracle applications.
Able to perform complex problem solving and to work collaboratively with Oracle Support and Product Management.
Knowledge and experience of Oracle’s PaaS solutions.
Knowledge and experience of Oracle’s Cloud integration strategies and solutions.
Good understanding of Oracle’s ETL tools and other integration solutions.
Ability to write PL/SQL code is a plus.
Experience in data design, data modeling, data mapping, data interrogation would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills. The ability to work in a collaborative and energetic environment with other technology and business disciplines.
Will require travel to client sites for projects up to 70% after the pandemic.
Support sales efforts and drive technology adoption by positioning Oracle Consulting’s services.
Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions.
In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solution is a plus
