Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is looking for a Senior Product Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Technology team in Quincy, MA. This is a terrific opportunity for an IT professional with experience in defining product solution architecture for healthcare enterprise systems and integration with third-party clinical and healthcare SaaS software solutions.
Provide product solutioning, architectural and design guidance to new projects, upgrades, and vendor integrations for Clinical, Health Engagement and CRM solutions
Work closely with enterprise architecture, business analysts, data architecture and development teams to determine system integration needs
Facilitate product solutioning and technical approach decision process, provide design solutions and oversee implementation of the design approaches and business integration through all stages of system development.
Create high-level and detailed design approaches and models, including integration architecture, user stories, use cases, business object models, business process flows and data flows.
Evaluate applicability of new technologies and architectural approaches through proof-of-concept
Propose and oversee implementation of new architectural solutions and enhancements to existing system design based on new technological solutions and design patterns
At least 8 years of experience with product solutioning for healthcare enterprise systems, including solution architecture for vendor SaaS solution integration
Ability to collaborate with project stakeholders, including business requestors, enterprise architects, and impacted IT groups on defining a product solution, integration architecture and system components
Strong understanding of systems and engineering needs for mission-critical systems
Strong understanding of modeling techniques, including object-oriented design, system models, use case models, data models, process flows and data flows
Strong understanding of business and system complexity, and project interdependencies, from functional, logical and technical perspective
Experience creating technical architecture for enterprise and SaaS solutions is preferred
Ability to create and document system and functional requirements using a combination of user stories, use cases, written descriptions and diagrams.
Ability to create process flows, use case models and related diagrams using a system modeling tool, such as Microsoft Visio
Ability to create data mappings and working knowledge of SQL (Oracle SQL experience preferable)
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8-10 years of experience in product solutioning for information systems
Healthcare and Insurance product solution analysis and architecture experience
