J&J Family of Companies RSC Franchise Portfolio manager DPS in Raynham, Massachusetts

Johnson & Johnson MedTech, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies is recruiting for a Right Stage Customization (RSC) Franchise Process and Portfolio mgr DePuy Synthes. This position can be based in any J&J Medtech office in the Americas or Europe with a preference for locations with a strong DPS footprint (Raynham, West Chester, Cork).

The Right Stage Customization (RSC) Franchise Process and Portfolio mgr DePuy Synthes reports into the Director RSC Global Labelling Business Process Lead to support overall RSC process and system operations, continuous improvement and deployment.

This process starts from managing of new requirements or changes to be executed in the RSC-enabled DC’s to the handover to Deliver for execution of the required changes. The RSC Franchise Manager will serve as the RSC single point of contact with franchise PMO teams to ensure flawless change management, establish the repack relabel project portfolio governance, ensure systems and process operations, continuous improvements, establish high standards of quality and compliance outcomes, and deliver key RSC operational metrics outcomes.

Business scope impact:

  • $5-6 Billion NTS support for MD products that require RSC/supplemental labelling. Special focus in EMEA in 2022-2023, with expansion to APAC post Magellan/Transcend ‘24 This requirement is expected to grow with visibility of increasing nationalized labelling requirements in the horizon.

  • This area accounts for one-third of MD’s Field Actions and escalations. Addressing is a long term solve also requires establishment of new processes and oversight.

    Key Result Areas:

  • Reduced/eliminated NC/CAPA/FA/Escalations at deployment sites – lagging indicator

  • % Right first time Product Transformations – indicates the end to end effectiveness from trigger of the request to the first transformed product out the door

  • % Right First time Component accuracy – as source data is critical – RSC itself doesn’t author the data – ensuring accountability to those inputting the source of truth into the system is accurate – leading indicator

  • Reduced execution leadtime: change request to product ready to ship at our deliver sites – both lagging and leading indicator

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Franchise and regions to provide RPRL project portfolio / prioritization /sequencing/funding

  • Owns Franchise LCM support for RPRL / RSC system usage

  • Ensures upstream data source connection strategy, influences masterdata hierarchy setup, supports Franchise as required

  • Develop, publish and monitor relevant metrics

Qualifications

  • +5 years’ experience in either franchise systems or regions, global experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated broad stakeholder engagement and communications acumen

  • Experience in highly regulated environments and complex supply chains

  • Background in manufacturing ops, warehouse operations, labeling ops, quality systems, regional supply chains, systems deployments

  • Demonstrated leadership and tenacity in ambiguous programs driving stakeholder engagement and alignment

  • Strong knowledge of the J&J Medtech Supply Chain is a plus.

  • Experience in managing timelines and priorities in a sophisticated business and multi-ERP environment.
