Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead (Remote)


  • Focus on Digital Technology skills

  • Program lead Workday suggesting enhancements, evaluate new functionalities and emerging trends (e.g. AI) and delivery of high-quality functional Workday solutions related to integration solutions such as Workday Studio, APIs and Orchestration.

  • Partner with key business leads at the global level to enable the new software capabilities as an IT leader

  • Partner with vendors and contract management

  • Facilitate communication and information flow between business partners and project teams to refine requirements and deliver on project goals against long-term Roadmaps.

  • Large scale program management & business change management. Accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities requirements gathering, documentation.

  • Working closely with HR Technology Organization to align objectives and provide best-in-class support for all Otis colleagues

  • Work both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders and others across the team to define and document requirements and develop robust solutions.

  • Prioritize and drive solutions related to Workday Integrations and capabilities

  • Executive management presentations, communications, and issue resolution

  • Work with Workday Functional Leads to drive new solutions related to Workday and other Otis Systems - define & document, participate in workshops, etc.

  • Develop functional specifications and development specification documentation for Workday Inbound and Outbound Integrations, Documenting requirements associated to change requests and connect requirements with Use cases.

  • Work with HR Technology Functional Leads to perform regression and smoke tests to validate enhancements, configurations, Business Processes, Workflows develop

  • Ability to partner with wide variety of very senior leaders, DT leads, HR Technology Team, developers, testers and other resources required to implement and support solution

  • Ensure technology adoption and realization of benefits. Ensure proper operation and support models in place for all new implementations


  • Workday Integration or Functional Experience (10+years) as an IT partner: 10+ years’ experience in gathering requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday functional solutions according to customer requirements leveraging the following workday modules: Human Capital Management, Workday Learning, Workday Recruiting, Workday Projects, Workday Extend, and Cloud Connect for Third Party Payroll and Learning

  • Demonstrated history of orchestrating Workday implementations.

  • Large Scale Program/Project management skills (10+ years) and Extensive experience in driving comprehensive Software implementations

  • Ability to organize, hire, manage, train team of employees and contractors – onshore, nearshore, offshore

  • Ability to partner with wide variety of leaders at all levels of the organization, DT leads, developers

  • Ability to managing and coordinate multiple vendors and global partners

  • Business analyst skills

  • Ability to drive tasks to closure: Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills that incorporate a strong attention to detail as well as the identification of priorities and actionable paths

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, consensus-building skills to surface appropriate strategies, solutions, etc. when engaging with colleagues, stakeholders, and subject matter experts

  • Excellent group facilitation and communication skills to develop relationships and lead complex working sessions, discovery and design workshops, meetings, and executive-level discussions with clients and colleagues

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field +7 years’ experience

  • Master’s +5 years

  • Certified Workday Professional is a plus

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
