Title: Systems Support Administrator
Employer: Essex Group Management Corp.
Position Reports to: Data Systems Manager
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 40 hour minimum work week
Wages: Salaried Position
A+, MCSA certification or equivalent field experience

Competent communications skills
Good physical and mental health. Finger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and
equipment. Visual and auditory acuity. Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty (20) pounds, and be able to
carry objects. Must be able to push and pull, and continuously walk, sit and stand. Must be able to turn,
crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder heights as tasks dictate. Must use good body
mechanics. Must possess active listening skills and be able to talk to others to convey information effectively.
Must be able to use critical thinking in problem solving.
The systems support staff position undertakes information systems desktop computing, infrastructure maintenance and software support. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading corporate desktop computer hardware and related equipment ensuring its optimal performance. The systems support staff troubleshoot desktop computing problem areas in a timely, efficient fashion. Support staff also provides end user training and assistance as required. Additionally the systems support staff assists in communications systems management and intranet functionality development.
Coordinate and accomplish network infrastructure hardware and software installation.
Respond to “on call” requests for critical I.T. support during scheduled periods.
Initiate and monitor land and cellular communications repair and service tickets.
Assist in developing and deploying additional intranet capabilities.
Work with outside consultants deploying and managing communications and data technology.
