Position Overview: Our new Software Solution Engineer will work alongside Account Executives to qualify and help close opportunities with new prospects and to up-sell existing customers. We are looking for a talented solutions engineer with excellent customer facing, technical and organizational skills, and previous experience in enterprise software sales. The Software Sales Engineer gets excited talking technology to all audiences, and providing hands-on technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting PoCs. What you?ll do: Support the international pre-sales team, working closely with the field sales organization in the US and globally. Convey technical information in and out of the field and securing success for customers and attainment of company sales targets. Develop and maintain positive relationships with field account executives to manage and close new and existing software sales pipeline. Deliver focused software and solution demonstrations to audiences at all levels from developer to C-suite. Technical account management with existing customers, as well as delivery of hands-on technical training to prospects and existing customers. Provide direct input to the product team, to help prioritize features based on input from prospects, customers, and partners, as well as your own competitive research. Qualifications required: Computer Science or other technical degree, with programming experience. 3 years experience in commercial software pre-sales and business development, with a focus on solutions sales experience. Computer skills including most of: Java C/C++ C# Familiarity with command line Linux Scripting in languages such as Python Ruby, Perl, and Shell UI development RESTful web services and JSON Docker/Kubernetes, containers, and orchestration Natural Language Processing (NLP) / Text Analytics AI technology Machine Learning Neural Networks Search and noSQL document indexing systems, such as Elasticsearch, Soler, Lucene, or MongoDB We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
