Position Title: WMSAnalyst I (ERP)
Location:South Deerfield, MA or Pataskala, OH
Reports to:IT Systems Manager - ERP
With very limited supervision, the WMS Analyst I is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Collaborates with business users to understand and create business functional requirements, customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications, and tests WMS layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate and business functional needs.
Experienced business solutionsanalyst with in-depth knowledge of PkMS Warehouse Management applications andassociated business processes. Secondary knowledge of ERP interaction.
Strong partnership skillsinclude working cross functionally with implementation partners, internalIT organizations, and business leaders to drive large scaleimplementations globally. Understands the process areas associated withOracle ERP solutions utilizing best practices
Works directly with IT andbusiness users to thoroughly understand functional requirements to produceeffective technical design documentation using best practice developmentstandards for our ERP system.
Assist in the implementation ofpurchased application software and integrating it with companyapplications, data bases and technology platforms.
Development and execution oftest scripts, analytic review of issues with the testing cycle, including,determining the root cause of the issue causing the defect
Responsible to manage progresstoward resolving critical production support and application enhancementrequests as it relates to Newell’s Home Fragrance Division of WMS
Review businessrequirements with the goal of developing high-level solution design,timelines and resource estimates for implementation, including deploymentrecommendations factoring in the Information Technology Departmentstandards, security, audit and compliance requirements.
Works in collaborationwith the business users and IT team to ensure production support andapplication enhancement request and system changes are prioritized.
Customizes and configuresworkflow to allow for the integration of client/server applications.
Responsible for designing,planning and executing application testing strategies and tactics toensure software quality throughout all stages of implementation andtesting process.
May lead and manage the work ofothers.
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
1-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst orApplications Administrator in an IT environment or business functionalarea.
Demonstrated experience supporting and/or implementinga WMS (Warehouse Management system) in an enterprise environment
Preferred experience with PkMS WMS but we will considerother similar warehouse management systems
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and the abilityto effectively communicate
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical problem solving and decisionmaking skills within functional and technical areas
Strong leadership skills, attention to detail andorganization of status reports
Knowledge of application design activities tools andtechniques, knowledge and experience with implementing purchasedapplication software; knowledge of application testing and ability toexecute.
