  • Hands-on, in-depth experience with diverse HTTP/JEE/Middleware products and solutions

  • Knowledge of complex, multi-tier application architectures, and the ability to analyze, document, and communicate specific aspects of their design.

  • Experience in working with HTTP/JMS Web Services, Java, and analyzing JVM internals.

  • Experience in Jive 9.x collaboration Server is preferred.

  • Hands on experience in Web sites configuration in load balance environment and various security zone like DMZ and Semi-private zone.

  • Experience in building and supporting message bus like RabbitMQ .

  • Hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows scripting, automation, and configuration management tools.

  • Experience in scripting for deployment using Puppet is a plus.

  • Ability to coordinate the work of other team members and effectively share technical information with less experienced or knowledgeable co-workers.

  • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and planning skills.

  • Experience Required: 10 + years Local candidates only - must be able to work/commute to Southborough regularly.

    Additional Requirements:

  • Analyzes business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions.

  • Designs, codes, tests and documents applications based on system and user requirements.

  • Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.

  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

  • Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.

Principal responsibilities include:

  • Plans, conducts and manages assignments generally involving large, high budgets (cross- functional) projects or more than one project

  • Assists in creating the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming function

  • Serves as point of contact between IT and key business users senior leadership in defining IT solution based on business needs

  • Drives changes in architecture, methodology or programming procedures

  • Performs estimation efforts on the most complex projects and tracks progress

  • Obtains detailed specification from business users and development to ascertain specific output information requirements

  • Prepares detailed plans for managing cross-testing team dependencies

  • Serves as the testing consultant to leader in the IT organization and functional user groups.

  • Mentors team members on all aspects of testing concepts

  • Works with other testing teams to develop integrated methodologies for testing end-to-end transactions

  • Interacts and leads discussions with other testing members, leader, development team, project management, business partners and external vendors/suppliers

  • Acts as prime consultant on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives
