MassMutual Change Readiness Consultant in Springfield, Massachusetts
Assess, identify, and communicate the change management and/or readiness impacts of medium-complex solutions to impacted areas. Lead and manage the development and delivery of change management / readiness strategies, activities plans, procedures, communications, business workflows, and end-user training that solve for the identified impacts. Define, assess and partner with Sponsor to communicate the health and status of the change post-implementation. Guide and advise/mentor less- experienced Change Readiness Consultants, customers and delivery partners to continue building change readiness competencies. The role may require consultation on changes outside of solution delivery. Change management support may require consultation of mastery level change partners or management.
Represents field perspectives throughout field-facing technology solution & tool project deployments, assessing readiness opportunities and ensuring they are identified and addressed in advance of & during post project delivery.
Manages and assists in the development and execution of sustainment plans to ensure “day one” field preparedness and ongoing education & awareness as new technology solutions and tools are transitioned from project team to being operationalized and supported. Ensure Ambassadors are ready and understand change management & readiness needed for all field interactions (e.g. presentations, visits, new technology overviews).
Serves as a liaison between technology project teams and field business partners / stakeholders, facilitating the identification of field change readiness risks and developing /executing mitigation plans to resolve.
Ensures that communication of the reasons for change are clearly articulated & understood by all stakeholders. Includes informing stakeholders of reasons for change (why?), the benefits of successful implementation (what’s in it for HO and field business partners) as well as the details of the change (when, where, who is involved, how much will it cost?).
Executes targeted technology readiness & sustainment plans and creates meaningful business use cases to ensure field technology solutions and tools are highly adopted / widely used.
Establishes, tracks & reports on critical success factors and measurable benefits of projects deployed.
Strong alignment and partnership with Field Technology Ambassadors
Develops and maintain relationships with agency personnel
Promotes / communicates proactively regarding technology programs & services
Collaborates with Field Technology Ambassadors in educating agencies on new technologies
Identifies new opportunities and business use cases for technology to make a difference
Assists IT Delivery teams in facilitation of technology pilots, deployments & sustainment activities
Creates understanding of agency / agent technology interests/readiness needs to home office technology project team members, throughout the life cycle of IT projects
Supports Field Technology Ambassadors in the training & education of agency-hired technical resources
Educates executive team on field-facing technology readiness & sustainment activities
Support readiness & change management related needs on monthly Agency Tech Teleconferences
1-3 years of related experience in change readiness/change management
Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, presentation skills
Self-starter with strong executive presence
Proven track record of designing, building & successfully deploying readiness & sustainment plans, preferably related to delivery of technology to field agency personnel
Demonstrated ability in planning & affecting successful change though communication, inspiring desire to actively participate & support change, creation of common understanding & knowledge of change, identification & plan for change and reinforcement to enable sustained change
Limited travel may be required
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study, with an advanced degree preferred
Strong technical background with solid knowledge of / experience in an agency environment
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on project teams, with agency personnel and across departments in a confident & constructive manner
Proven ability to successfully leverage internal / external resources in achieving personal and department goals & objectives
