Hybrid position, 80% BI Data Developer and 20% Web Developer. Assist in the analysis and development of logical database designs, data models and relational database definitions across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, Web, e-commerce) in support of our Business Intelligence team. Participate in monitoring data architecture standards and conventions. Receives general direction from supervisor. Assist in performing data Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data as required to support operational data management that is the backbone of our customers business. Assist in web page design, requirements and web support of current application and new data entry applications.
Desire to participate in developing projects that have high level of complexity, providing guidance and resolving issues in an Agile environment
Capable of applying knowledge and handling complex problems with minor assistance
Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
Willingness and desire to learn Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism
Willingness and desire SQL queries
Ability to analyze customer requirements and transform them into technical design specifications
Drives continuous improvement and efficiencies beyond own scope of responsibility Contributes to implementation of processes to certify data quality for business intelligence purposes
Demonstrate effective communications skills; tailor communication to audience and situation
Assist in the development of web applications includes
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or MassMutual business experience
Willingness to learn and desire to be part of a high performing team
Team player with the ability to receive directional supervision
Must have a love for data
Must be willing to take initiative
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management team
Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment both individually and in a team environment,
Continuously expand on personal technical knowledge
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
