Position Summary:

The Identity & Access Intelligence (IAI) Business lead will work as part of the Program Office of the CISO within Enterprise Information Risk Management. This role will focus on developing and maintaining an Identity and access management analytics strategy and roadmap as well as implementing and maturing Identity and access security capabilities and processes that will provide visibility, analysis, and enforcement against MassMutual information systems, networks and infrastructure. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including Technology Leads, Security Solution Strategists, Solution Architects and other Business leads to implement and refine the Identity and Access Intelligence strategy / road maps and technology capabilities. This role will ensure alignment with MassMutual Compliance and Legal controls functions for policy decisions, as well as, application owners and corresponding Technology work cells.


  • Plan and manage the Identity and Access Intelligence program, inclusive of evaluating current capabilities, identifying enhancement opportunities, road mapping enhancements based on need, and overseeing successful implementation of Identity and Access Assurance protection Technologies (65%)

  • Plan and develop IAI protection policies and solutions for MassMutual Home Office and the Field force through collaboration with Law, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk functions to protect MassMutual information assets (15%)

  • Evaluate current IAI security capabilities in place to support effective and appropriate protection controls; inclusive of tools for: Identity proofing, provisioning lifecycle management and customer identity access management (10%)

  • Establish workflows for IAI security alerts and incidents including notifications required and groups involved for response (5%)

  • Conduct POCs for new capabilities and partner with Work cell Technology Leads to select, implement and tune security toolsets selections and inclusion in the road maps (5%)

  • Manage and oversee relationships with third parties selected to ensure business requirements are met and that issues are promptly addressed when they arise

  • Prototype end to end capabilities that span both legacy and new systems

  • Facilitate monthly metrics on IAI Protection program evidencing effectiveness and coverage of capabilities

  • Provide support and guidance during internal and external audits and partner with auditors and Business to close gaps identified

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in information security technology, Identity and Access Management security toolsets and controls solution within both a legacy and digital cloud environment - preferably in a financial services organization

  • Ability to work independently and be comfortable making program decisions

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated success with managing large security and technology capability initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and data analytics to guide Business decisions and identify problems

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Key Encryption experience a plus

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements based on data classification and protection
