IT Academy Internship Program

What is the IT Academy?

The IT Academy is MassMutual’s premier IT internship program for high school and college students. We are dedicated to employing diverse, highly skilled students and aiding them in their career goals.

Strategic Positions Profile

At MassMutual, information technology goes beyond strictly technical careers. Our robust IT department boasts an array of strategic, people-focused roles that are perfect for aspiring leaders with strong communication skills, including Project Management, Business Analysis, Portfolio Analysis, Enterprise Risk Management, and many other exciting roles. If you are interested in pursuing a career on the strategic side of information technology, we have included a list of skills and competencies that will strengthen your application. Strategic Skills

Careers in strategic areas of IT may allow you to develop in the following areas. Interest/prior experience in these areas will strengthen your application.

Minimum Qualifications

•Current Freshman, Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a four-year Bachelor degree program

•Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

•Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication

•Demonstrated leadership skills gained from student clubs, community involvement or work experience

•Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications

•Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

•Strong, creative problem solver

•Works autonomously, self-starter

•Intellectually curious and agile learner

•Preference for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business-related majors
