RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create user profiles and monitor access levels based on role

  • Remove access, unlock user accounts, and reset passwords

  • Import new leads and contacts

  • Execution and monitoring of system utilities

  • Install high priority updates

  • Run reports to monitor the health of the database

  • Help users develop and/or enhance reports for meaningful metrics

  • Address and resolve incidents

  • Educate the team on new updates

  • Onboard new hires whose role requires access to Salesforce

  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions

  • Monitor system usage for compliance

  • Administer, monitor and maintain system security

  • Research and keep current on Force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications

  • Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client

  • Participate and engage in all team meetings

  • Document best practices and operational procedures

  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 or more years of experience as an administrator

  • Business Analysis or Business Systems Analysis experience, or equivalent

  • Ability to own and drive the business analysis of a project

  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and on multiple assignments at once

  • Experience functioning & executing work in a fast-paced iterative environment such as Agile

  • Demonstrate initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking

  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly

  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required in related field

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience as an administrator or developer

  • Insurance and/or financial services industry experience

  • Experience using JIRA

  • Experience working in a DevOps model

  • Experience with enterprise database solutions

  • Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com

  • Ability to guide / mentor other developers and troubleshoot issues
