Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

This role is for a test director within the LTAMDS Integration & Test Cross Product Team. The test director is responsible for planning, coordination, and test execution of test events supporting contracts for the LTAMDS system. This role is within the Mobile Sensors & Weapons Systems Department.

This position is an onsite role. Due to the nature of the work, there may be prolonged domestic business travel required leading up to and during test event execution, expected travel is 50%.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Develop test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports

  • Provides direction over the test execution activities

  • Responsible for communications within internal & external stakeholders in regards to test event status and results

  • Conduct the readiness assessments and review

  • Obtain and maintain access as required by program

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience with Integration and Test.

  • Experience leading a technical team

  • Experience with systems integration and test, including:

  • Test procedure development and execution

  • Experience troubleshooting and/or performing root cause analysis

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience planning and execution test events – such as ground tests, flight tests or system integration check outs

  • Experience identifying resources and dependencies required to support test events (staffing, test assets, configuration)

  • Experience interfacing with internal or external customers

  • Experience with network configurations and troubleshooting

  • Experience with Linux/UNIX command line

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
