How will you make an impact?

By nurturing and growing a strong quality management system, the Quality Assurance Engineer has wide-ranging responsibilities and opportunities to impact the business’ health, effectiveness and most importantly our customer’s experience with our products and systems.

What will you do?

  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the Quality Management System that results in improved quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and process improvements.

  • Apply quality systems knowledge to successfully lead and manage our corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system

  • Actively participate in root cause analysis investigations across the business

  • Act as the lead auditor to develop agendas, training process, audit schedules, and generate findings reports by effectively implementing the internal audit program.

  • Assist with the maintenance of ISO registration and the external audit program

  • Provide Quality support to engineering and manufacturing organizations for new and sustaining products.

  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement) projects to support achievement of quality and business metrics.

  • Report monthly quality metrics and analyze trends

  • Assist in the writing and review of standard operating procedures (SOP) and train employees on requirements.

  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences or a closely related discipline

  • 3 to 5 years of applicable experience in engineering or science field in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 3 years as Quality Engineer

  • Previous problem-solving experience

  • Certified ISO auditor a plus

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal skills and the ability to work collaboratively throughout the organization

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead small scale projects while working independently
