We are currently seeking a Senior Hardware Design/Production Support Electrical Engineer to join the Radar Receiver Exciter Integrated Product Team in Tewksbury, MA.
The Receiver, Exciter, and Signal Processing (RESP) Department is the focal point for receiver, exciter, beam steering, and signal processing technology. The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, support to production builds, and lifecycle support for integrated air and missile defense systems.
We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/radio frequency (RF)/power circuitry and interfaces
Hardware integration and test
Resolve hardware issues on production lines
Interface with supply chain and supplier to resolve production issues
Partnering in the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures
Leadership of root cause and corrective action investigations and presentation of findings to the integrated product team
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Production and/or Test of electrical sub-systems
Proven experience troubleshooting and performing failure analysis of circuits with demonstrated knowledge of associated measurement equipment.
Ability to understand and interpret Acceptance Test Requirements
Hardware integration and test experience
Strong skills and experience performing analysis of technical data
Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
Experience leading cross functional investigations
Experience developing test plans/methodologies
Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination and preparation of detailed technical team reports
Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters
