Location/Division Specific Information:

The Field and Safety Instrument (FSI) business manufactures and markets a leading portfolio of instruments designed to make the world safer, serving global customers across Industrial & Applied, Pharma & Biotech, Government and Healthcare end markets. Leveraging a wide variety of technology platforms for molecular, elemental and radiological analysis, the business’s diverse portfolio of field-based products enables productivity for customers with real-time, easy-to-understand answers.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Strategy Deployment & Execution will be part of a global Business Transformation function designed to facilitate development and implementation of global new capabilities aligned to the long-term strategy of the business unit. Leveraging Program/Project Management, Change Management, Strategy Deployment/Hoshin Planning expertise and tools/knowledge of the PPI Business System to support and execute or lead strategic priorities is a key responsibility of this position. Successful execution will require partnership and the ability to achieve results and engagement across the entire global organization. The focus will be on delivering sustainable results to enable customer success and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute large strategic cross functional priorities aligned to STRAP

  • Provide Program leadership through program governance, project traceability, program and project performance monitoring and reporting. Utilize consistent tools and templates and other governance mechanisms as needed.

  • Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within high performance teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change.

  • Responsible for facilitating/enabling the implementation of the PPI Business System across the division and functions.

  • Provide support to develop lean expertise and capability within the organization at all levels.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement to improve KPIs, in the areas of customer, finance, people and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Business Transformational Initiatives with a ‘hands-on’ track record of implementing successful Strategy Deployment and Business System based tools, systems, methodologies including:

  • Strategy planning and strategy deployment

  • Program and/or Project Management expertise

  • Change Management expertise

  • Success in implementing continuous improvement tools and methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Business Transformation, Process Re-engineering, or another improvement methodology.)

  • Broad knowledge and experience of multi-functional, multi-site, global organizational processes and financial business methods.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Operations or relevant business-related field.

  • Proven track record for developing, training, and coaching teams.

  • Expertise through certification in one or more relevant areas (i.e. LSS GB/BB, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, PMP, Prince2)

  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed, up to 25% if needed.
