Job Summary:

The Software Products Engineering (SPE) within RMD Engineering, is comprised of three Centers and has a population of over 2000 employees.

SPE provides a continuous flow of efficient, flexible, reliable, secure and affordable embedded software in support of the warfighter's mission.

SPE is seeking an Engineering Learning Coordinator to work hand in hand with the SPE Learning Champion partnering with SPE leadership, managers, and Learning Council Members to meet the learning needs of the entire SPE software community.

The learning coordinator is the focal point for software learning and responsible for managing learning deployment logistics.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Manage all logistics for training activities including instructors, schedules, material, equipment, student enrollment, and environment to foster a positive learning experience.

• Use of the Raytheon Learning Management System (LMS) to set up courses, query learning information and most importantly generate learning reports on a regular basis.

• Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional course design and implementation.

• Key point of contact to inform employees about training opportunities and options and collaborate across RMD Engineering learning organizations to coordinate learning opportunities

• Provide coordination of REDx Talks, Independent Study Groups, and Learning Sandbox activities.

• Manage learning portal and create sharepoint learning sites as needed.

• Provide financial support by monitoring financial actuals, obtaining financial data, and assisting with Quarterly SPE leadership Learning Status meetings.

• Participation in Learning Scrum team understanding Agile processes and participate in the development and deployment of new training methods and processes.

  Qualifications You Must Have:

• Associates degree

• Experience coordinating meetings, classes, and/or events

• Working knowledge of training logistics

• Working knowledge of MS Office Products, PowerPoint (slide master templates), Word, Excel, and Outlook applications

• Working knowledge of Learning Management System

• Working knowledge of collaboration tools (Zoom, Skype, and Sharepoint)
