Amentum Aerial Delivery / Airdrop Engineer II (Telework) in United States

Amentum is seeking a self-starting, team player to fill the role Aerial Delivery / Airdrop Engineer II in support of CCDC Soldier Center - Aerial Delivery efforts.
You bring your comprehensive knowledge and engineering expertise to this role, providing , technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in support of Aerial Delivery efforts.

Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under minimal supervision.
Act as a lead on less complex tasks and responsible for a portion of a design or section of an analysis or design review.
Generate complete design specifications of more complex projects.
Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications
Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
Conduct site visits and investigate engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
Support development of technical proposal and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work
At least 5 years of experience in related field
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
Position requires up to 25% travel to domestic and international locations.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred experience with Cameo Systems Modeling Tool, SysML, System Tool Kit, MATLAB, Simulink
Graduate engineering training in Aerospace, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
