Purpose/Objective:

To perform clerical/administrative duties in the security & fraud dept in support of security & fraud officers and management.

Key duties/responsibilities of Security Administrative Assistant:

  1. Monitor and identify security discrepancies to ensure that all operational areas are properly marked, secured, controlled, and safeguarded, and serve as the primary contact for security related initiatives within the department.

  2. Process alarm and access requests, issue personal identification codes, and provide access control training for all new personnel and refresher training as needed.

  3. Update and maintain the Property Listing daily or as needed.

  4. Enter and assign cases in Verafin.

  5. Perform a broad range of security administration work (under supervision) that includes: Personnel security, information security, physical security, and communications security.

  6. Complete projects given by other team members in a timely manner.

  7. Provide personnel security administrative support in an office environment

  8. Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.

Education:

  • AA preferred or equivalent experience in Security/Fraud Investigations.

    Experience:

  • 1+ years’ experience of well-rounded general banking knowledge

  • 1+ years’ experience in security monitoring

    Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of bank security.

  • Detail oriented & analytical

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills

  • Proficient Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task
