Solidus Technical Solutions, Inc. Test Engineer - 3305 in United States

Solidus is searching for a Test Engineer to support the Digital Directorate (formerly known as the Battle Management Directorate) at Hanscom AFB, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.

  • Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of engineering tasks.

  • Devise new approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, dispatch, and thoroughness.

  • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.

  • Works with Task Lead and teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.

  • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).

  • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.

  • Facilitates and supports project meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 yrs work experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.

  • IT Certifications are a plus.

  • Travel: Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.
