Buyers Edge Platform Digital Campaign Specialist in Waltham, Massachusetts

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and creative team member to join our growing marketing team of 5. We support 13+ companies within the Buyers Edge Platform. Our priorities are often shifting quickly as we operate similarly to a Marketing Agency serving our various stakeholders. At any given moment, the 5 members of our department are likely focused on 15 separate projects.

Who are we?

Buyers Edge Platform is a Digital Procurement Network for the foodservice industry. We help operators (restaurants, hotels, casinos, healthcare facilities, etc.) succeed by helping them save money on the products and services they purchase every day. Operator clients take advantage of our contracts with top manufacturers of products ranging from chicken fingers to garbage bags.

We’re an important connection point for the industry – bringing together stakeholders from across the supply chain in order to help all parties succeed. We rely heavily on our proprietary technology to deliver exclusive contracts, supply chain consulting and data services to all of our partners and clients. This position will ideally be based near our Waltham, MA office but can also be based remotely. We are unable to offer sponsorship for work authorization for this role.


The Buyers Edge Platform Marketing Department is seeking a Digital Campaign Specialist with experience developing web assets using HTML, Wordpress, and other platforms, as well as maintaining, optimizing, and driving B2B digital marketing campaigns using a CRM with email sending capabilities.

The Digital Campaign Specialist is responsible for assisting, creating, updating, and maintaining our various web presences across a network of 10+ websites, as well as marketing our companies through various email marketing campaigns. The Digital Campaign Specialist on a regular basis will create, update, and maintain new or ongoing web development projects, develop and build out email campaigns, contribute strategic ideas, write email and landing page copy and conduct analysis on the success of these campaigns in contributing to departmental goals.

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with HTML, have a strong understanding of best web practices, be proficient in both landing page design and implementation, have proficiency working within Wordpress CMS to create and update our web presence, and have knowledge and understanding of concepting and crafting email campaigns, copywriting for B2B email marketing campaigns, utilizing Google Analytics and Salesforce reporting tools and Einstein Analytics to assess campaign success and return on investment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, update, and maintain our web presence across our various platform brands (network of 10+ websites)

  • Assist with ongoing website development projects, using Wordpress CMS

  • Maintain and update our Web Hosting solution

  • Build email campaigns to align with our brands, goals, and general messaging guidelines

  • Work closely with internal teams to write engaging email copy and create email assets

  • Assist in the development of projects and processes to promote our various brands

  • Ongoing professional development to stay up to date on the latest trends in email marketing

  • Assist in development of marketing automation programs (landing pages, forms, ads, email templates, etc.)


  • 2-4 years’ experience with developing, building, assessing, and reporting on web design and development.

  • 2-4 years’ experience with developing, building, assessing, and reporting on Email Marketing campaigns

  • Proficiency working with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP)

  • Proficiency working with Wordpress CMS

  • Experience utilizing Pardot and/or Marketo/Eloqua for marketing automation (Pardot preferred)

  • Experience developing campaigns that integrate with Salesforce CRM

  • Proficiency in copywriting and design principles for email marketing

  • Past experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce reporting tools and/or Einstein Analytics

  • Analytical mindset and ability to derive meaning through A|B testing, website data, and trends

  • Excellent writer and communicator (written and verbal)

  • Experience working under tight deadlines in challenging situations
