This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose The Transformation & Digital Adoption Office (TDA), part of IT, Digital & Transformation, will play an important part in National Grid bringing energy to life. The TDA’s focus is on large-scale, transformational change. Sitting between IT and the business, the TDA is perfectly positioned to ensure change programs have the right governance, clear goals, robust business cases and execution to deliver their designed benefits. Working with the business to reimagine their approach with a digital mindset, the TDA is standardising and streamlining how we deliver transformation – ensuring programs are equipped with the right talent, tools, and methodologies. National Grid is building a new Center of Excellence (COE) for Transformation Change Management to provide centralized change management support across the organization’s transformation efforts. The Transformation Change Management COE will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving change management methodology based on leading practices and industry standards, as well as training relevant stakeholders on the methodology. The Transformation Change Management COE Lead is accountable for ensuring Change Managers across the business are supported in the delivery of change management strategies that aim to drive adoption of new digital and transformation initiatives. This person will be responsible for identifying out of the box thinking and methods to overcome organizational inertia, resistance to change, or change saturation. They will champion and lead the creation of an innovative and engaging change management methodology that enables the achievement of business goals and drives successful adoption of transformation and digitization efforts across the business. ## Key Accountabilities + Lead the way in establishing and sustaining change management methodologies, tools, and metrics for change management efforts throughout the organization + Advises on complex change management issues on transformational programs, and oversees change management efforts by the business to deliver successful and sustaining change management solutions + Drives and oversees training of the organization on the established change management methodology + Researches leading practices of change management methodology and incorporates them into the organization's methodology + Identifies cultural components needed to institutionalize transformation efforts and creates associated change management strategy guidance + Partners with the business to ensure that change management is at the forefront of designing for intended program outcomes, driving financial and operational results across the business. + Elevates the change management capability through thought leadership, in order to implement real progress and widespread innovation ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required + Talent management and driving team performance - Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Inspirational leader, able to motivate and develop teams. + Collaboration with a wide variety of internal stakeholders. ## Qualifications + Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering change management strategies for global or large-scale transformations + Demonstrated experience with building change management capabilities, maturity, and credibility with an organization + Demonstrated ability to work in agile, ambiguous situations and create structure to drive results + Ability to influence and engage a diverse group of stakeholders + Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams + Extensive project management experience, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management and familiarity with project management software and tools + Exceptional strategic and solution driven thinker regarding organizational and behavioral challenges + Ability to analyze data and drive actionable insights from data sets + Demonstrated experience leading complex large-scale organization-wide change management functions or teams + Minimum 10+ years of change management experience + Demonstrated success leading a large number of change management for large scale, cross-functional, and global transformations + Bachelor's Degree in Business HR Management, Organizational Psychology or other related fields + Prosci, ACMP, or an equivalent OCM certification + Advanced degree in Business Administration or Organization Development is strongly preferred ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
