Raytheon Technologies Engineering Applications Managed Service Product Manager (REMOTE) in Waltham, Massachusetts

The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team.

Raytheon Technologies has an opening for an Engineering Applications Managed Service Product Manager, (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) as part of the Runtime & Delivery team, will provide oversight for the production sustainment team in collaboration with business stakeholders. The Manager will continuously develop, maintain and prioritize application work backlogs and monitor accomplishment of service and change requests. Remote Opportunity.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders focused on understanding current and prospective capability and service needs

  • Articulate, prioritize and manage the Pipeline of Initiatives, collaborating with Business Leaders, stakeholders and support team

  • Drive and support identification and development of continuous innovation and process improvement opportunities

  • Monitor progress of activities and assist development as necessary to ensure solutions satisfy business requirements

  • Review and monitor help desk requests to ensure prompt resolution of user needs and adherence to SLA's

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert between the business stakeholders/community and technical team to identify, define and prioritize business needs

  • Own the team Kanban boards, responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining features, user stories, defects and enablers

  • Hold regular communication with business stakeholders to ensure backlog is continually groomed

  • Provide clarifications necessary to assist the team with their work accomplishment.

  • Support communication / Training as required

  • Serve as subject matter experts and business process liaison for other team members (e.g. Testing, Development, Training and Support)

  • Participate during test cycles to ensure that the application is tested against the functional requirements

  • Report on progress of the capability through the development lifecycle

  • Escalate Issues as needed

Required Skills:

  • Typically a minimum of 8+ years in the service product applications arena and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree. Advanced degree and minimum of 5+ years related experien

  • Experience with developing feature acceptance criteria which validates benefit hypothesis

  • Knowledge to transform customer requirements into Features at the functional level

  • Exposure to owning Team Kanban boards, responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining features, user stories, defects and enablers

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • US Citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and design business processes

  • Experience and working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Required Education:

Typically a minimum of a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
