ServiceNow is seeking IT Transformation solution consultants with IT Operations backgrounds. The ITX Inside Solution Consultant (SC) will provide technical expertise to support customers with product and solution leadership during sales engagements. Background in one of the following domains desirable: IT Operations Management, Cloud Management, Business Management or Hardware/Software Asset Management. This is a hands-on individual who loves technology and is capable of going wide and deep to help our customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by ServiceNow’s IT Workflow Solutions

  • Assist Inside Sales teams in the qualification of customer needs through discovery

  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers

  • Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents;

  • Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required for demo and Proof of concepts

  • Supporting Marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc

  • Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators

  • Demonstrated being proactive without being told what to do

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be efficient to minimize wasted effort

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with IT Solutions & Technologies

Successful candidates in the role will have some of the following:

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical focus

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT related role (examples: Consulting, Presales, SRE, Asset Management, Project Management NOC Engineer, etc)

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software a plus

Experience in some of the following areas a plus for the role:

  • Experience with ML, AI, DevOps

  • Experience with event management platforms (Data Dog, Big Panada, Netcool, HPOM, BPPM, etc)

  • Experience scripting with powershell, perl, wmi, ssh, python, javascript. Xpath, snmp

  • Experience with discovery technologies (ADDM, TADDM, DDMA/UD, etc.)

  • Experience with Hardware and Software Asset Management

  • Knowledge of service oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc)

  • Experience with Cloud Management Platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, VMware, etc
