Wolters Kluwer IT Security Project Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts

IT security project manager with extensive experience managing IT projects. The project manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous varied and complex security projects. The project manager will also be responsible for managing and tracking tasks to carry out the IT Security priorities of the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing numerous complex projects with various priorities and stakeholders

  • Developing and executing action plans for completing projects related to the enterprise’s IT Security priorities

  • Creating thorough and accurate reports and providing status updates on projects

  • Presenting findings to leadership on a routine basis

  • Resolving varied project problems and disagreements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a project management role (at least 1 year managing security projects)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, Master’s degree preferred.

  • Certifications: PMP, CISSP, CISM, Azure are preferred, not a must

  • Must have significant and extensive work experience as a project manager

  • Familiarity with InfoSec concepts and issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable collaborating with and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise

  • Effective leadership and delegation abilities

  • Outstanding time management skills – should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with managing and resolving disagreements is a plus

  • Effective leadership and delegation abilities

  • Experience with NIST CSF, SOC2 Type II, or HITRUST a plus

  • PMP, Security and cloud certification a plus

  • Ability to identify, collect, and communicate metrics that demonstrate project success and value across the organization
