National Grid Manager, Technical Delivery in Waltham, Massachusetts

Managing, eliciting, analyzing, validating the technical requirements, business processes and high-level solutions/applications designs, integration and support using Lean and Agile processes, methodologies and principles for efficient delivery utilizing SAP integration solutions, Lean and Agile processes, methodologies and principles, and Agile software delivery models. Creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables such as process flows and test cases to meet development and stakeholder needs. Implementing SAP modules and related modules, including SAP FICA and SAP ISU modules. Executing test scripts in SAP, integrating systems, and updating the results in HP ALM. Driving defect identification and resolution through the test cycles. Building Technical Architecture, producing technical documents, and preventing security concerns. Executing end-to-end testing of Finance and ISU master data and processes during systems upgrade projects. Working with SAP ECC for both finance and ISU functional areas. Developing IT systems in terms of functionality, networks, integrations, roles compliance and security. Working with the product owners and project managers on defining the detailed scope of the project and acceptance criteria for testing, as well as confirming the delivered solution is in fulfillment of the stated requirements and specifications. Creating business requirement documents, functional documents, and test scripts. Supporting business through the test cycles and providing key users training to the business leads and supporting them through the test cycles. Managing 2 direct reports, IT BA IT Projects and Senior IT BA IT Projects, in addition to 2 or 3 contractors (e.g., SAP developers) per project.To provide development support for end-users in co-creating new technologies with existing assets to form innovative business solutions which ensure that the discipline is applied consistently by use of common components and that the latest technologies and trends are understood and applied to enhance business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field, or foreign equivalent degree. Seven (7) years of experience supporting SAP business systems within the energy utility industry, with a focus on implementing SAP ISU, including: implementing SAP modules and related modules, including SAP FICA and SAP ISU modules; building Technical Architecture, producing technical documents, and preventing security concerns; analyzing and implementing end to end SAP ISU systems; utilizing SAP integration solutions, Lean and Agile processes, methodologies and principles, and Agile software delivery models; executing end-to-end testing of Finance and ISU master data and processes during systems upgrade projects; working with SAP ECC for both finance and ISU functional areas; developing IT systems in terms of functionality, networks, integrations, roles compliance and security. Domestic travel within the U.S. (NY & MA) up to 15 days total travel time per year.
