National Grid Operational Technology Security Lead in Waltham, Massachusetts

This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose + Development and management of OT Security Program, delivering capability to operational technology environments + Central Liaison for engagement with business (gas and electric) stakeholders to educate and develop solutions appropriate for environment + Management of team / engineers who will be design and delivering capability + Identification, development and delivery of robust security product engineering solutions + Program Management to ensure OT security products and solutions are delivered on time and on budget + Project management and delivery of solutions across OT environments + Practical Experience in delivery of controls, project management, design, or application of controls within Industrial Control systems in either electric, oil or gas industries + Ability to define and deliver services to internal and external customers, achieving excellent customer satisfaction. + A thorough knowledge of Protection & Control and Distributed Control/Industrial Control/SCADA systems as applied in electricity and gas transmission, and experience in testing. + Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking capabilities. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to create and work in virtual teams to solve business issues. ## Key Accountabilities + Responsible for ensuring an appropriate and proportionate approach to security management across the entire National Grid portfolio. + Delivery of protective security advice to all areas of the business. + Responsible for the efficient designing, developing, implementing and managing of security programs to protect corporate assets and people against theft, acts of terrorism, and other such hostile activity. ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required + Strong leadership, influencing and analytical skills, demonstrating sound judgement and decision making, and be able to credibly interact professionally at all levels across the organization. + Able to demonstrate a high degree of credibility and influence senior stakeholders within the organization and key external stakeholders. ## Qualifications + Educated to degree level or post graduate level (equivalent combination of education and experience) in Cyber Intelligence or Security related subject + Security Qualifications such as SANs SEC487, Open-Source Intelligence Gathering and Analysis, FOR578: Cyber Threat Intelligence, GCIA, GCIH, GCDA, GPEN, or similar training and certification ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
