MaxLinear Senior ASIC Verification Engineer in Waltham, Massachusetts
MaxLinear is seeking a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our growing team. You will be part of our Digital Design group that architects, implements, and verifies ASIC and FPGA DPD and CFR IP for both internal and external customers. In this role, you will focus on the following:
Verify MaxLinear DPD, CFR, and other algorithms for use in WiFi and 5G deployments
Develop test plans and feature lists
Design and develop a robust constrained random testbench with SystemC, C/C++, and System Verilog
Close code and functional coverage
Assist in FPGA platform development and bring up using Xilinx or Intel FPGAs
Collaborate with other team members in software, algorithm, and RF
Enable customers with IP integration
Experience taking a project from planning stages through tape-out and final release
Strong programming skills in C++
Scripting in Python and/or MATLAB
Understanding of RTL design and basic SoC design concepts
Expertise in System Verilog or SystemC
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Experience with the following are a plus but not required
Digital signal processing
Xilinx Ultrascale+ FPGA platforms
ARM, AXI, APB, JESD204, JTAG, 5G NR
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 5 years of experience, or MS
