This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose The Senior Contract Analyst is a critical position whose role is to work with National Grid contracts in the New England Electric space. Duties include ensuring National Grid is maximizing the value of its contracts. The role understands the reporting needs of National Grid management and provides efficiency metrics through contract data collection to achieve maximum contract value. The role also requires analyzing, interpreting and reporting on contractor and construction information as well as creating presentations and automating dashboards for the NE Electric post award contract management group. ## Key Accountabilities + The Senior Contract Analyst role requires the candidate to locate, retrieve, analyze and present data from multiple platforms and sources in a format for benefit of the business unit. Specifically, data analysis as related to contract execution and financials and contractor performance. The Senior Contract Analyst will build, develop and maintain relationships with adjacent stakeholders to achieve highly accurate data representation for NE Electric Contract Management’s work requirements. + The Senior Contract Analyst will be able to create reports in a dynamic environment with changing reporting requirements. The position will require working with data sets pertaining to construction contracts, contractor performance, finance, accounts payable, procurement, materials, task frequencies, work plans, schedules, headcount, historical information, etc. The Senior Contract Analyst will be able to identify trends and inefficiencies in contract frameworks and contract performance, and make recommendations to management for technical contract improvements. + IT Work Platforms. The Senior Contract Analyst will be system oriented and competent in multiple work platforms to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Suite, Unifier (Primavera), P6, Maximo, and Tableau. The position will require creating efficiencies in systems and system usage to optimize contract performance. Presentation of system data into clear, concise and timely reports. + Storm Support. Support the data analytics and generation of data sets for reporting requirements of weather related events. ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Proven contribution to project and team membership and leadership. ## Qualifications + Bachelor's degree and 5 + years in a data analysis preferred, preferably in contract analytics. Education and experience in a technical discipline preferred. Experience in construction contracts and construction operations is required in this role. Experience and understanding of enterprise organization finance and accounting systems. + The following software and systems are used and experience with, or experience in similar products is required: + Microsoft Suite, is required.
