Kforce Senior Veeva CRM & Data Integration Analyst in Waltham, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client is seeking a motivated, analytical Senior Veeva CRM & Data Integration Analyst in the life sciences industry to support our clients' various CRM platforms and the data integrations with Master Data Management and Data Warehouse solutions. The role will heavily involve data integration between the CRM platform and upstream & downstream systems, including a Master Data Management system, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence tools. The ideal candidate should be a true Veeva expert, who knows the ins and outs of the Veeva platform from both a front-end and back-end perspective: configuration; administration; common objects/data model; system functionality, processes, & behaviors; etc.The candidate will be part of a remote team, but some travel will be required to client sites as needed.Job Responsibilities

  • Guide a client through CRM implementation from a data-management perspective: attend requirements calls with third-party vendors and the client; review business & technical documentation, providing necessary feedback to support deliverables and client needs; provide expert opinions (and best practices advice) to the client and CRM implementation team related to the data and integration to/from systems; setup integration processes between CRM and systems, working with other internal resources as necessary

  • Once operational, resolve any production-support CRM integration issues in a timely manner, working with client, CRM administrator, and/or third-party vendor to address any external causes

  • Respond to client inquiries and requests, including ad-hoc data extract needs

  • Understand the interdependencies between CRM and MDM, Data Warehouse, and BI solutions in terms of business processes, data flow, and technical integrations; advise internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure overall quality of deliverables

  • Document business requirements, technical solutions, integration processes, and data flows as needed

  • BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

Experience configuring and administering at least one CRM platform, such as:

  • Veeva (strongly preferred)

  • OCE

  • Salesforce.com

  • Synergistix

  • Mobile Intelligence

  • Strong SQL skills

  • Strong data analysis skills in your tool of choice; our primary tools are SQL Server, QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of data integration options and mechanisms: web services, flat files, etc.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with an internal team and external customers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The following qualifications are a plus:

  • Certifications in Salesforce.com, Veeva, OCE, and/or Mobile Intelligence

  • Business-analysis and requirement-definition skills: be able to gather clear and complete requirements, shaping what is needed

  • Experience with DDL and procedural SQL (stored procedures, etc.)

  • Experience with Master Data Management systems, preferably in the life sciences industry

  • Experience with Data Warehousing, preferably in the life sciences industry

  • Life sciences/pharmaceutical industry knowledge, especially experience with pharmaceutical customer data (HCPs, HCOs, affiliations)

  • Experience designing and creating reports and/or ad-hoc extracts: being able to present the appropriate, relevant information in an intuitive and actionable way
