Kforce Service Desk Operations Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts

Kforce's Waltham, CT-based global manufacturing client is looking for a Service Desk Operations Manager on a contract basis.Responsibilities/Enterprise GPO Audit Management: * Review source GPOs and Login scripts affecting source objects * Document source object resultant set of policy * Document and communicate functionality that will be lost or changed * Work with business unit teams and Application owners to determine alternate approaches * When functionality must be retained work with Client/Server/AD teams to incorporate functionality * Prepare source domains with user object GPOs for migration by changing source domain move user GPO settings to loopback computer GPOs * Expected outcome is that users in either source or target domain can login to devices in either source or target domain while still having proper policies applied * Tiger Team Leadership; Escalation tree lead: Working together with business unit and technical leads to identify root causes to pre and post migration issues * Vendor Management: Help Desk relationship lead; Metrics; Point on team problems and Issues; Reporting; Owning Lessons Learned library and holding our vendors accountable for monthly reviews; Continual Improvement within processes; Assess gaps and provide remediation recommendations * Collaboration with Program Management Team to align on migration schedules * Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned * Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
