CVS Health Executive Director, Analytics Platform Engineering - CTS in Wellesley, Massachusetts

Analytics & Behavior Change is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. As an engineering leader you will be part of a larger engineering focused organization that builds Data & ML Platforms for CVS Health. This role will have significant exposure to senior leaders across analytics and business in the CVS Clinical Trial Services organization. This role will own product development, delivery, and strategy of the platform that will support rapid business growth at scale across all facets of Clinical Trial Services (recruitment, conduct, sales analytics, real-world evidence). What does it take to thrive as a an Executive Director in Engineering?You are a talented leader committed to building a great team, culture, highly scalable systems, and strong relationships with leadership across Clinical Trial Services. You are passionate about creating an environment where individuals can perform at their best while building on our trusting, collaborative, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere. You are a technical hands-on manager who wants to work at the intersection of health, big data, machine learning and more. You will define scalable architecture for the Clinical Trial Services platform that encompasses data products, vendor strategy, and data monetization. You are creative, responsible, and curious while leading the team to move quickly in delivering customer solutions. You want to work with a team of exceptional engineers who you want to both teach and learn from.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 170,000

Maximum: 325,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience• 10+ years experience managing engineers• 5+ years of experience working with senior leadership to develop and communicate roadmap and strategy at all levels • 5+ years of experience in building large-scale platforms to support business operations for healthcare, retail or similar industries 5+ years of experience in• Analytics and business operations• Full life-cycle software engineering and data science• Experience delivering multifaceted, cross functional initiatives• Building and leading high performing engineering teams• Working with healthcare data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building data products to improve decision making and drive business value• Relevant Azure/GCP certifications• Exceptional problem solving and communication skills


• Bachelor’s Degree - Computer Science, Computer Engineering
