CVS Health Health Service Experience and Innovation Senior Manager in Wellesley, Massachusetts

Job Description

As a key member of the Retail Health Services & Strategy team, the Population Health Strategy – Senior Manager will drive the development of novel, population-based care delivery and coordination strategy. They will work closely with provider and clinical leaders to shape how our retail health assets will care for priority populations and help our consumers achieve superior health outcomes at lower costs. This will include a focus on identifying clinical services and capabilities, and defining the care team strategy in collaboration with external healthcare providers.They will own the roadmap for the care delivery model, and will coordinate with the relevant cross-functional teams to implement it. This leader will also incorporate relevant non-clinical capabilities required to support this integrated care delivery model, and will work closely with our Product and Technology teams to develop them. The consumer is at the center of Retail Health Services and this work will require an unrelenting focus on developing and maintaining an excellent experience across the continuum of care. This role will have significant exposure to senior executives, and will collaborate closely and directly with a cross-functional set of leaders from across the enterprise.This position has the ability to be 100% work from home anywhere in the US.Responsibilities:1. Lead articulation of end-to-end, population-based care model in the retail setting, connected to Home and Virtual modalities and to external provider partners, working closely with provider and clinical leads2. Develop and manage a detailed plan and roadmap outlining the services, capabilities, and care team requirements; propose internal solutions to meet those requirements, and/or define external solutions to fill remaining gaps3. Organize Clinical, Analytics, Population Health, and Partnerships teams to execute against the plan, and coordinate with Home and Virtual counterparts to ensure smooth delivery of integrated care model4. Monitor performance against the plan and provide frequent updates to Executive Leadership

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare experience, with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience with a provider organization engaged in risk-based arrangements and value-based care• 2+ years’ experience with strategy, business planning, operations and or managing total cost of care within healthcare• 2+ years’ experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams with highest level of effectiveness in a matrixed complex organization• 2+ years’ experience working with population health and health finance skills, with working knowledge of evidence-based interventions and major drivers of total cost of care, and demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to develop novel approaches to capture white space opportunities, bringing structured thinking to tackle ambiguity and uncertainty• Familiarity with key healthcare regulatory frameworks, range of risk arrangements in the marketplace, and major industry players• Deep empathy for our consumers, and the ability to apply consumer perspectives to every element of a care delivery and coordination model• Demonstrated organized, detail-oriented, and structured thinking, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines, demonstrating a high level of independent judgment and proactivity• MPH, MHA, and/or MBA
