Our Development team is growing! We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to support and build an inclusive team culture, monitor day-to-day code delivery, and successfully manage relationships with our external vendors.

Monitor day-to-day code delivery and quality, while holding the team accountable for upholding our core engineering values.
Work with product management and stakeholders to identify dependencies and support the successful delivery of our product roadmap.
Advocate for and manage the growth and development of your team, e.g., have regular 1:1s with team members, provide useful feedback and effective coaching, set deliverables, track and plan career growth, etc.
Build and support an inclusive culture of quality, feedback, and iteration within the team.
Identify headcount needs for the team, and drive planning and recruiting to fill these needs.
Anticipate and address issues within the team around communication, underperformance, interpersonal dynamics, and ownership.
Take a higher-level view of architecture and tools, while working with team members to identify and drive strategic investment opportunities in our tools and platform.
Manage relationships with external vendors.
5+ years of experience building backend applications.
2+ years of experience leading development teams.
Proficient with agile development methodologies.
Experience with AngularJS, .NET 6, MSSQL, Azure DevOps, Azure, Terraform, preferred.
Comfortable with planning and executing projects from idea to completion.
Ability to plan, build, test, and maintain complex software applications.
Experience getting a team to focus on the highest-impact projects.
Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
A growth mindset and track record of building highly effective teams.
