Lead Membership and Business Insights Analyst

The Lead Membership and Business Insights Analyst will support the Membership pillar of the Enterprise Analytics Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Analytics, we are looking for a thought partner who will take a data-driven approach to drive membership insights and action that will improve member engagement, shopping, retention, and growth. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with senior leaders in Enterprise Analytics, Membership/Engagement as well as the Executive Leadership.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide analytic support to drive data driven decision making and strategy across the engagement, loyalty, CRM and member insight space

  • Be a thought partner in the creation of our engagement and personalization testing plans and provide “next level” insights related to the measurement of tests

  • Assist the business in the creation of the member journeys via ad hoc analytics

  • Be relentless in the pursuit of value-add insights through the utilization of an “answer first” (scientific method) approach to analytics

  • Communicate results of analysis in a thoughtful, concise manner via “high impact” emails and PowerPoint presentations

  • Champion the incorporation of loyalty economics in our decision making and analytics.

  • Support Marketing in executing and measuring brand marketing campaigns

  • Support Merchants by providing membership insights to drive decisions

  • Provide ad-hoc membership insight support to other groups inclusive of the C-suite

    Job Requirements:

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen to make strategic recommendations

  • Ability to think critically in order to drive business decisions with the use of data and analytics

  • Understanding of the application of statistics/ML modeling in marketing analytics

  • Strong communication skills resulting in the ability to translate complex analyses to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and provide strategic direction

  • Working knowledge of visual analytics platforms such as Tableau

  • Expertise with at least one data/analytics programming language (e.g. SQL/SAS/R/Python) a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Economics, Marketing or related field; Graduate/MBA degree preferred
