The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer focuses on all developing of robotic process automation (RPA) scripting with UiPath’s platform of assigned processes. Works with process owners on business process standardization using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, before beginning RPA development. Responsible for thorough testing and complete documentation of all RPA solutions. Evaluates and modifies existing RPA processes for maintenance to maintain performance. Documents, evaluates and updates developer standards around RPA best practices. Process re-engineering and RPA implementation will involve review of enterprise-wide processes to streamline, reduce inefficiency, and improve member service.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Due to the nature of this role in dealing with specific technical knowledge on an on-going basis, the position requires (and not limited to):
Ability to design, build, program, test and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software solutions using an Agile methodology.
Works with clients and senior developers to execute RPA initiatives by analyzing and designing process workflows, building, testing, implementing RPA solutions and ensuring quality of the system.
Assists BJ’s business teams in the construction of business cases and opportunity identification efforts to support the further adoption of RPA solutions throughout the organization.
Works as an advisor to other departments conducting business process streamlining analysis.
Serve as core developer for UiPath / RPA solutions
Work closely with the RPA Engineer to design solutions
Works with business analysts and customer to understand process. Map the as-is process into automated steps.
Implement, configure, and test the RPA solution
Provide guidance to scrum master, engineer, business process analyst, and other developers in best practices
Assist in deployment and orchestration of RPA bots
Assist in operations and maintenance to update and maintain bots
Ability to clearly explain processes that need alternative solutions
Ability to integrate RPA into other technologies in order to achieve the goals of automation
Continue knowledge growth in RPA technologies to continually bring value to customers.
Ability to contribute to other aspects of development projects, a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience:
This position would require an undergraduate degree in computer information systems, programming engineering, technology and/or relevant professional RPA certifications. One or more years of successful experience with one or more RPA technologies (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
6+ years of program development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years specialized experience with an emphasis on interpreting user requirements, business application design and programming of business applications.
Completion of UIPath Developer Foundation and/or UiPath Certification a plus
Experience with UIPath Document Understanding a plus
Experience with AWS cloud environment and or certification a plus
