WORKDAY SENIOR HRIS ANALYST

The primary purpose and function of the Workday Senior HRIS Analyst is to act as the Workday functional subject matter expert, provide HR system administration and support, and support Workday HR system configuration, enhancement, and deployment efforts. You will be be part of the HR Technology team and work closely with the implementation partners and subject matter experts to drive the configuration, testing, and release of one or more HCM functional domains.

Candidates must have knowledge of Core HR and familiarity with at least one of these other modules: Absence, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, or Talent. Report writing is also highly desirable, as it exposure to PRISM. This individual will also serve as the liaison between business teams, 3rd party vendors and IT for system integrations, enhancements, and issue fixes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support configurations for core HCM and/or supporting modules including but not limited to, Absence, Core and Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, Absence Management, Talent Management, and Learning.

  • Design, test and implement changes or enhancements to Workday business processes, security groups, error handling and notifications.

  • Partner closely with HR leads and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.

  • Create new Workday reports and/or dashboards based on stakeholder requirements.

  • Assist in the development and execution of all test scenarios with tracking and reporting of pass/fail metrics for stakeholder visibility.

  • Work with IT to support the design, build, and launch of integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformations, and Studio integrations.

  • Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

  • Support data conversion efforts to ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS systems.

  • Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed.

  • Assist with broadening internal knowledge of Workday through hands-on training to HRIS and other support teams.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of security groups, foundational tables, and documentation of applicable Workday inbound and outbound integrations.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • 3 years of functional Workday HCM and reporting experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workday configuration, testing and report writing.

  • Experience with configuring and managing Workday security is highly desirable.

  • Experience writing and executing test scripts for unit and UAT testing.

  • Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and an analytical, process-oriented mindset.

  • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, delivering a high level of service & quality.

  • Be resourceful, exhibit excellent teamwork, problem solving and client focus skills.

  • Have a “Roll up your sleeves” attitude and adaptability skills in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel data functions required.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills working with technical systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and participate on multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Comfortability with leading & providing knowledge transfer.
