The Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for shaping the Olympus Digital Health strategy and identifying innovation areas. This includes the development and continuously advancement of the DU's digital strategy, defining and communicating strategic priorities and pivots to ESD, TSD and CS.
The person will shape new opportunities through market and innovation scouting, developing an implementation plan and work on strategy implementation and strategy tracking.

Identify, shape and capture digital business opportunities for the Olympus medical business.
You are responsible for the continuous advancement of the digital strategy and ensure that it is aligned with the Olympus medical strategy and the relevant BU strategies.
Conduct research on competitive landscape, M&A, market trends to identify disruptive market opportunities and the possibilities to differentiate.
Establish strong relationships with business leaders to ensure strategic alignment with key business strategies.
Identify new opportunities to innovate and complement our digital portfolio.
Derive the portfolio vision to connect strategy with the digital portfolio and define clear portfolio priorities.
Analyze and derive opportunities for organic versus inorganic growth.
Prepare and conduct the regular strategy reviews in our governance board meetings.
Derive a strategy implementation plan, advance digital KPIs and monitor strategy implementation.
Motivate, inspire, and influence others across the organization and communicate our digital strategy within Olympus and beyond.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or another related field required.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field strongly preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum 7 years' experience as a Strategic Business Analyst / Manager, Senior Subject Matter Expert in IT or Senior IT Consultant.
Minimum 5 years' experience in building and maintaining a multi-year-roadmap of IT initiatives in collaboration with Business Stakeholders and Enterprise Architecture.
Minimum 5 years in the Medical industry (preferably 7-10 years), either in a Consulting Company or directly in a Life Science Healthcare Company.
Experience in providing strategic vision to optimize digital performance and contribution.
Experience in working with senior business leaders to understand business models, strategies, and priorities.
Expert knowledge of technology solutions and technical capabilities as well operations, people, and processes.
Strong understanding of device development and commercialization strategy, processes, and timelines.
Knowledge of Agile Development.
Demonstrable strategic thinking.
Demonstrable organizational skills.
Experience in working in multinational enterprises is a plus.
