We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background with proven product experience with modern technology-stack. A solid understanding and expertise in architecting cloud platforms with a keen understanding of security, with experience in API Design and databases. Performance, reliability and technical leadership are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Improve existing performance monitors and alerts designed to manage SLAs and minimize outage incidents
Maintain, tune, troubleshoot and continuously improve operation of application infrastructure, monitoring and code pipelines
Lead and improve existing response of any uptime issues by bringing together various teams and stakeholders, and provide robust communication and visibility to the organization during such incidents
Work with development teams to coordinate and automate software deployments, common system operational and maintenance tasks
Optimize our deployment footprint/system architecture to increase the cost efficiency of our systems in the cloud
Qualifications, Strengths, and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology or related field
5+ years of experience with focus on strategic technology planning, and execution
3+ years managing and working with team of senior software engineers / architects
1 year of experience with a hybrid cloud environment including but not limited to Azure etc.
Preferred:
Experience leading a Site Reliability, or, Performance Engineering team strongly desired
Experience with Cloud level technology strongly desired
Experience moving products into the Cloud desired
Cost Reduction Experience desired
Hands on and strategic desired
Experience working closely with senior executives to execute effectively on strategic plans and track and report progress
Creative problem-solving skills and innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems
Strong communication skills: conversational, written, and presentation
Experience in Healthcare IT industry
