Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Cross Functional (XFN) Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be part of the Robotic Storage Tech Solutions and Program Management team focused on next generation robotic system design, as well as supporting the existing fleet of robotic and automation technology.

The Principal XFN TPM will manage the full project lifecycle of innovative programs aimed at improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of Amazon’s next-generation warehouses. This position is responsible for cross-functional program management of large-scale NPI programs and fielded storage hardware products and serves as the liaison between Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Solutions Design, Analytics, Customer Support, and the Program Office.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technical Field

  • Possesses excellent business judgement, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

  • Experience working with the designs of complex automated material handling equipment and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing

  • Experience in building collaborative partnerships across different engineering and product organizations

  • Experienced in delivering on multi-year product road maps

  • Experience in non-technical aspects including idea generation, business analysis, and process optimization

  • Experience in driving adoption of program management best practices

  • Skilled in mentoring engineers and technical program managers
