Job Description

The Process and Technology Analyst supports the global “Procurement Process & Performance Excellence“- team and regional Procurement organization. This position needs to understand business requirements and provide efficient and effective solutions in collaboration with global, regional and cross-functional teams. The role will be a key role for supporting and rolling-out the global procurement digitalization projects by implementing tools and platforms according to the digitalization strategy. This role will assist by the improvement of all Global Procurement procedures for all aspects of Management Processes (Procurement Performance Management; Procurement Talent Management etc.), Core Processes (Plan-to-Strategy; Supplier Management; Source-to-Contract; Procure-to-Pay) and Support Processes (Should Costing Management, Procurement Master Data Management etc.) This role will provide training and support for the regional Procurement organization with global & regional standards. This position will also support regional procurement by driving regional process changes for the regional procurement and by supporting at regional external and internal audits.

Job Duties

  • Understand business requirements and provide efficient and effective solutions in collaboration with global, regional and cross-functional teams to address them e.g., updating Procurement processes, internal training programs, process automation etc.

  • Create, manage, harmonize and train global & regional process standards (i.e., OGBRs, Playbooks, tools, templates).

  • Support global procurement digitalization projects by implementing tools and platforms according to the digitalization strategy.

  • Drive regional process changes for the regional procurement.

  • Support regional external & internal audits.

  • Lead IT changes and implementation of new software.

  • Provide training and support for the regional Procurement organization with global & regional standards.

  • Support regional Indirect Procurement in Process Management.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education and/ or training is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in Procurement driving key business processes, relevant supply chain frameworks, process management techniques, and notation standards is required.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and confident in presenting (English, Japanese a plus), excellent levels of spoken and written English is required.

  • Willingness to travel domestic and international ( 20%).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with MedTech/ related industries and/ or leading consulting companies is preferred.

  • Experience working as a process manager.

  • Process modeling and creation of process flow charts.

  • Six Sigma Certification (Green and Black belt).

  • Knowledge about process standards and metrics.

  • Proven know-how about industrial trends including digital technology and latest thinking in SC resilience and risk management, ESG requirements, applied experience in implementing innovative solutions is preferred.

  • Strong facilitation, consultation, and convening skills and experience. Proven training and change management experience are preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and productive relationships with internal stakeholder.

  • Self-motivated, open-minded and change affine and ability to lead and empower cross-functional (virtual) teams.
