Key job responsibilities

Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be part of the Robotic Storage Tech’s Solutions and Program team focused on next generation robotic system design. The TPM will manage the full project lifecycle of innovative and responsive programs aimed at improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of Amazon’s existing and next-generation warehouses.

This position is responsible for overseeing storage hardware development and cross-functional program management (schedule coordination, risk mitigation, communications) of a portfolio of programs and will serve as the liaison between Engineering, Solutions Design, Analytics, Customer Support, and the Program Office.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

• Experience in building partnerships across different engineering and product organizations

• Experience working for a PMO. Familiar with project management tools.

• Experience in non-technical aspects including idea generation, business analysis, and process optimization

• Experience with agile development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, XP, etc)
