Tighe & Bond Consulting Engineers IT System Specialist in Westfield, Massachusetts

The IT System Specialist will be based in our Westfield, MA office and will manage a variety of information technology responsibilities and support all of our northeast offices (this position will have remote flexibility until after Labor Day when we move into a hybrid model). Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of an AS degree (BS preferred) in related field Minimum of 4 years of server/system IT administration experience in a company setting Experience with managed antivirus, storage area networking, Microsoft Windows Server, and Hyper-V virtualization Ability to comfortably lift and carry weights of at least 25 pounds Ability to demonstrate good interpersonal effectiveness in dealing with people at all levels, practice good listening techniques, and a positive attitude stressing flexibility and customer orientation Proven track record of providing first class customer service to local and remote system users to ensure a well-operating productive technology environment for employees Ability to work on multiple assignments under time constraints and prioritize tasks and deliverables and has proven problem-solving skills Responsibilities: Manage storage Nasuni and NetApp Filers, iSCSI, replication Manage virtualization Hyper-V hosts, virtual machines, replication Manage cloud antivirus Manage local firewalls networking/routing, VPNs, security services, logging, updates Help identify security-related anomalies Manage networking switches routing, 802.1X port authentication, updates Manage Windows servers services, patching, event logs, and identifying issues to address Help manage SharePoint intranet and workflows Help manage communications and collaboration tools MS365/Azure, Teams, Polycom Help manage backup and recovery environment Assist with escalated helpdesk tickets when requested Assist in the roll out of new technology initiatives planning, staging, implementation, communication Participate in IT staff meetings, providing suggestions for enhancing user satisfaction and IT processes Provide responsive, excellent customer service to all Tighe & Bond employees Our best-in-class compensation and benefits package includes competitive salaries, profit sharing, an employee wellness program, a generous health care plan, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, ESOP, 401(k) plan, PTO, internal training and professional development, and a tuition reimbursement program.
