RedHat Principal Ecosystem Partner Manager for Telco in Westford, Massachusetts

Job summary

The Red Hat Ecosystem Partner Management team is looking for a Principal Ecosystem Partner Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will represent Red Hat with our strategic independent software vendors (ISVs) and public cloud partners. You'll work on the joint enablement of Red Hat OpenShift Platform together with our partner’s products. You'll also work closely with our partners' engineering product leads to promote the enablement of their products across the Red Hat product portfolio. You will be responsible for managing partner requirements and escalations throughout the release process.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Work with assigned strategic public cloud or telco partners

  • Organize and guide all ongoing partner technical deep dives

  • Maintain a good technical working knowledge of your assigned partners' solutions, including product needs and roadmaps

  • Host partner engineering interlocks across the various product divisions within your assigned partner's organizations

  • Host and facilitate partner technical reviews, e.g., engineering roadmap alignment

  • Work on partner technical escalations with the Red Hat Engineering team

  • Maintain partner enablement dashboards

  • Successfully follow through on all engineering escalations around feature requests, exception requests, or mutual customer issues

  • Assist Red Hat Support in customer to partner escalations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is a plus

  • Experience with the open source development model

  • Working, practical knowledge of Kubernetes environments

  • Experience working with a public cloud or telecommunications company

  • Self-motivated and able to learn quickly, with excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to assess partner requests while taking into account Red Hat's goals, requirements, and strategic directions

  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift

  • Demonstrated leadership experience working with and guiding cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

  • Deep knowledge of vSphere, AWS, or Azure is a big plus

  • Direct experience with various programming languages, as well as with various server architectures, is a plus
