As a Product Engineering Intern in Radiofrequency Division (RFD) you will gain valuable experience and expertise in cutting edge RFICs and how they are managed through their Product Life-Cycle. A senior member of the Product Engineer team will mentor you through the aspects of product development. Key Focuses for Product Engineers are New Product Introduction, Revenue Attainment and Gross Margin improvement. Your assignments will require you to collaborate effectively with all levels of the Renesas organization and communicate progress and deliverables in an effective manner. You will have the opportunity to contribute to business-critical projects while developing your technical and project management skills.
Complete mentorship training plan
Cost reduction via yield improvement and test time reduction
Generate Characterization, Qualification, Bench-to-ATE Correlation and Test Limit plans for new products based on IDT guidelines and JEDEC standards
Support measurements/data collection and statistical analysis for Characterization, Qualification, Correlation, Production Test Limit setting, and any other specialized testing for datasheet parameters
Review NPI related hardware designs
Excursion management (Low yield and RMAs)
Work with Mentor and IDT Test Development team to design and implement production test solutions.
Enrolled in BSEE, MSEE or equivalent
Knowledge of RF theory & techniques
Statistical analysis background
Basic understanding of RF parameters including Gain, IP3, IP2, P1dB, Harmonics, Noise Figure, MxN Spurs, s-parameters,
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with RF Instruments: Network Analyzer, Power Supplies, DMM, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power Meter, RF Source is a plus
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills
Can work well independently and in a team environment
High energy, driven-to-succeed personality
Experience working with databases and creating reports
Knowledge of Digital Modulation
Knowledge of measurement automation
