The Information and Intelligence Engineering group is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to work on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) imaging systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow technically and broaden capabilities while proudly contributing to unique state of the art solutions that truly make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Integrate Software for ISR image sensors

• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to devise robust solutions

• Code higher order mathematics and data structures

• Create robust concise documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

• Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science,

Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Experience with C/C++

Understanding of object-oriented programming

Preferred Qualifications:

  • gcc/g++ 5.3.0

  • Experience with image or signal processing

  • Experience with cmake

  • Experience with opencv

  • Experience with Linux/Unix development

  • Experience with GPUs

  • Experience with Earth remote sensing from satellite or airborne platforms

  • Experience with DOD, NITF

  • Product Development Life Cycle experience

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
