Division Description:

ITW Air Flow Management is a producer of interior automotive components such as Pressure Relief Valves and Air Registers, with approximate revenues of $90M. Air Flow Management delivers differentiated value to the North American Automotive OEM’s addressing industry trends of autonomous driving, display integration, and customized environments. Business units include Westminster, MA and Reynosa, MX as well as a Sales & Engineering office in the Detroit area. The division has approximately 520 employees in North America.

Role Summary:

As an IT Analyst you will be part of a team of IT professionals who support a business with locations that contain both office and manufacturing environments. The IT Analyst’s role is to support end users and their computer software and hardware needs, maintain the data network, Active Directory, servers, VMware, endpoints, and all supporting infrastructure in order to provide a fast, secure, and reliable network for all the critical business systems.

Job Description

Role Summary:

As an IT Analyst you will be part of a team of IT professionals who support a business with locations that contain both office and manufacturing environments. The IT Analyst’s role is to support end users and their computer software and hardware needs, maintain the data network, Active Directory, servers, VMware, endpoints, and all supporting infrastructure in order to provide a fast, secure, and reliable network for all the critical business systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, servers, Active Directory, data network, printers, copiers, phones, O365 applications, and business applications.

• Proactively build, maintain, and administer data networks, Active Directory, end-point protection systems, servers, phone system, site safety systems, etc., utilizing Best Practices and proper administration techniques.

• Ensure network and Internet-facing servers are secure from cyber threats by proper management of firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and vulnerability remediation

• Research and recommend new tools and technologies to simplify administration and improve efficiencies.

• Manage inventory of computing and networking assets, ensuring manual, physical inventory matches inventory in various automated systems (Active Directory, asset management system, end-point protection portal, etc.).

• Maintain and enforce hardware, software, and security standards.

• Interface between end users and ITW IT service offerings (e.g. O365, Skype, SharePoint, FTP Hosting, Domain hosting, etc.)

• Manage phone system, provide end user documentation/training where necessary, and assist with mobile phone devices as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas.

• 2+ years’ hands-on experience providing advanced computer technical support.

• 2+ years’ experience supporting technologies including phone systems, O365 applications, data network, virtual networks, and end-point protection. Experience supporting ERP applications, Infor LN and XPPS preferred

• Experience with Windows, Linux, and IBM operating systems preferred
