Description Help Desk Analyst
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Requires 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, or via IT ticketing system.
Configure new computers, smartphones, and peripherals.
Reset user passwords.
Create user accounts.
Write training manuals.
Train computer users.
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
Walk customer through problem-solving process.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Clean up computers.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10.
Understanding of computer hardware and diagnostic procedures.
Experience working with user accounts in Active Directory.
Deep understand of Office 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
College degree in a computer-related discipline desirable
